Weeks for the Animals

Throughout the week educational institutions, animal shelters, rescue groups, and humane organizations across the state will be hosting scores of wonderful animal-related special events.  Educators, students, businesses and caring citizens across Canada will be joining in,  to celebrate and help the animals in communities everywhere.  

Events will include adoption fairs, spay/neuter opportunities, shelter days, R.E.A.D. dog programs in libraries, activities for the farm animals, pet donation drives and therapy dogs visiting hospitals, nursing and assisted-living homes.

Also to be included are a salute to the working K-9 and police dogs, cat initiatives, horse fundraisers, visits at  sanctuaries, veggie events, and fun-filled festival days for families to enjoy food, music and the always amazing animals!

Please become involved! Events are being planned now, and we urge animal lovers everywhere in Wisconsin to join in so we can all collectively participate!  See the page "Become Involved" on this website for  great ideas on what you can do.
